Lima's Star 92.1, The Lima Mall and The Ritz on West Market are coming together to help find a cure for breast cancer. Join us on Tuesday October 28th at The Lima Mall from 10-7 as we raise money and awareness at the same time as trying to find a cure.
We are looking for donations of Bra's and Monetary Support. Anything you can bring helps with the cause. Bring out new or used bras all day on the 28th to donate. Or take your bras to The Ritz at 825 West Market Street in Lima anytime until then. All donations will benefit local breast cancer research in Lima.
A recent and alarming statistic has found that 182,460 women will be found to have invasive breast cancer in 2008, and 40,480 women will actually die from the disease.
